The Nautical Board Clock
Surfing has been a significant part of Luis’s journey as both a lifeguard and an artist, shaping the way he understands movement, water and the coastline itself. The Nautical Board Clock draws directly from this connection to the sea, re-imagining the familiar form of a surfboard as a canvas for a complete resin seascape.
The composition flows along the elongated shape of the board, with layered resin capturing the energy, depth, and rhythm of breaking waves and shifting tides.
